Nature Piece brings together sounds that sit between the natural and the made. Unfolding through repetition and texture, the playlist reflects how natural sensations survive within everyday urban environments, often felt indirectly through materials, movement and atmosphere.
Shaped by Apr's belief that beauty and emotion tend to emerge not from grand scenes, but from small, everyday moments, the sequence shifts between artists from the twentieth century alongside more recent voices, including:
Morton Feldman, Ana Roxanne, K. Leimer, Nala Sinephro, Devonté Hynes, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Jan van den Broeke, DJ Python, Steve Reich, Dylan Henner, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Tomcbumpz & more…
Compiled by East London-based architecture studio Apricot Square, with thanks to the artists for their inspiring work.
